In these days of abnormally high metal prices, combined with the proliferation of internet websites selling the cartouche, we would to explain some important points about our products:

1) All of our cartouches are completely 18k Gold.  Many lower-priced cartouches available on the internet are made with a lower percentage of gold, and quite often, they symbols are as low as 12k.  Each Discoveries cartouche is stamped by the Egyptian government's assay office to ensure that the cartouche AND the symbols are 18k. Because of this stringent control, many of our cartouches will be stamped on an actual symbol as well as on the frame of the cartouche.

2) The overall weight of a cartouche is a huge factor in determining the price. Discoveries cartouches do not reduce the weight in order to achieve a lower price. 

3) Discoveries has a full office in Cairo to perform qualilty control, and a warehouse in the USA to make a final double check, and we export and import all cartouches through legal, reputable, and trackable methods.
